About Hannah

Hannah Mones is a Senior Editor at The Munich Eye and The Germany Eye, part of The Eye Newspapers — a global network of English-language publications serving expat communities. She writes and edits extensively on the day-to-day questions internationals face when settling in Germany.

At German Private Health Insurance (GPHI) Hannah focuses on the topics readers find most confusing: what PKV actually costs, who qualifies, coverage for families and freelancers, and the trade-offs against the public system. Her goal is to make a high-stakes financial decision understandable in plain English.

Hannah also works with Who Needs Engineers, the expat engineering company in Germany. Together with William Smyth she has a combined 20 years of experience helping internationals relocate to and settle in Germany.
